As you progress through the PADI System of Diver Education, you will learn to dive in different conditions, with new equipment while learning valuable skills that will open up new opportunities. Your confidence increases as you tackle new challenges.
These skills will help make you a better, safer and more comfortable diver.
Advanced Open Water gives you an introduction to 5 different specialty areas.
Rescue Diver You must be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and have Emergency First Response or a recognized CPR/First Aid certification prior to final certification. Oxygen Provider (please add link to page) is not required but highly recommended. Liability and medical statements MUST be signed prior to the first class.”
Schedule Rescue Diver requires 1-2 class and pool session and at least 1 open water session that takes place at a local lake, hot spring or a Dive Utah sponsored trip. Please call the shop closest to you or use the “Sign up Now” to get started scheduling your class.
Specialty Classes build on the introduction in the Advanced Open Water class and make you more proficient in those different areas.
Master Scuba Diver is the scuba Black Belt.
Schedule
Advanced Open Water requires at least 1 class session. This may be done at the open water site. They may be a pool session as well.
